Sarina Lirette serves as the Director of Adult Education at River Parishes Community College (RPCC) and as an Adjunct Business Instructor at Fletcher Technical Community College and RPCC. A lifelong learner and community advocate, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, a Master of Business Administration, and a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Adult Education. Her professional experience spans for-profit, nonprofit, and higher education sectors, with expertise in leadership, strategy, communication, and marketing.

Sarina’s commitment to service is demonstrated through active engagement with chambers of commerce, WIOA boards, nonprofit boards, recreation boards, and organizations supporting youth, animals, and individuals with disabilities. Her leadership extends to the adult education field through involvement with the Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE), the Louisiana Association for Public, Community & Adult Education (LAPCAE), and the Association of Adult Literacy Professional Developers (AALPD), including participation in COABE’s State Advocates for Adult Education Fellowship (SAAEF).

As a published author of an Open Educational Resource (OER), Sarina maintains a strong focus on advancing access to education and workforce pathways. Professional credentials include the designation of Accredited Small Business Consultant, National Career Pathway Network Leadership Certifications (Levels I and II), Communication Skills for Business (Certiport), and the National Retail Federation Customer Service and Sales Certification. Her work reflects a sustained commitment to measurable outcomes, student success, and system-level impact across adult education and workforce development.
