Professionally, Sarina serves as a Director of Adult Education and Adjunct Business Instructor within Louisiana's community college system. Her career spans the for-profit, nonprofit, and higher education sectors, with experience in leadership, strategy, workforce development, communication, marketing, and program development.
A lifelong learner and advocate for education, Sarina holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, a Master of Business Administration, and a Doctor of Education in Adult Education. She is also a graduate of COABE's State Advocates for Adult Education Fellowship (SAAEF).
Service has been a constant throughout Sarina's personal and professional life. Over the years, she has contributed her time and leadership to workforce development boards, chambers of commerce, nonprofit and community organizations, and causes supporting education, youth, animals, and individuals with disabilities. Across these roles, she has remained committed to creating opportunities for others and strengthening the communities she serves.
Sarina is the author of A Personal Path to God: Finding God in Everyday Life, her first published book. Through personal stories, reflection, and lived experience, she explores faith not as a perfect or prescribed journey, but as something that can be discovered through relationships, challenges, purpose, loss, love, and the ordinary moments of everyday life. Her writing invites readers to reflect on their own experiences and consider the ways God may already be present in their stories.
Whether through education, leadership, advocacy, writing, or service, Sarina's work is grounded in a belief that our experiences can become opportunities for growth, connection, purpose, and positive change.
